Join us on May 20 – 21, 2019 for our first Festival on Outreach. During the festival we will explore the idea of “Missional Partnership” in both the local and global context. We will learn about biblical mandates and models of healthy partnerships found in scripture. We will be taught how to overcome cross-cultural challenges in missions. We will take time to think through how to better care for missionaries beyond simply offering financial support.
Engaging in missions isn’t always easy. There are tremendous needs in our local communities and around the world. Knowing where God is leading isn’t always easy to discern. In addition, missions is often thought of as being transactional. This limits what God can do when both partners recognize their need for one another. Our desire through this festival is to equip pastors and leaders with tools to help them lean in to mutual, relational partnerships that edify the Kingdom and advance the Gospel.
Some of the speakers for the Festival on Outreach include, Dr. Jo Anne Lyon, Pastor Alex Sicilia, Dr. Joanne Solis-Walker, and Dr. Jim Vermilya.
