Children's ministries
Jil Mazellan

• Nursery, team leader (2-3 hours per week)

• Nursery room supervisor (2-3 hours per week)

• Nursery caregiver (1-1 1/2 hours per week)

• Pre-school team leader (2-3 hours per week)

• Pre-school teacher (2-3 hours per week)

• Sunday school teacher (2-3 hours per week)

• Support ministries (Hours vary)

• Club SPLASH ministries (2-3 hours a week)

(All children's workers are subject to police background check.)



Congregational life and missions
Judy Huffman

• Visitation (1- 2 hours per week. Visiting shut-ins, those who are hospitalized)

• Special projects (Short-term commitment of 5-6 hours per week)

• Sunday evening services (1-2 hours per week)

• Connection leaders (3-4 hours per week; assisting in developing and maintaining small groups: Bible studies, encouragement groups, etc.)

• Assimilation coordinator (2-3 hours per week; assisting in getting people connected to the CWC family; includes follow-up with visitors and may include planning and implementing a "get acquainted event) Assist in developing and maintaining small groups (Bible studies, encouragement groups, etc.)

• Local outreach (You can make a difference! Whether you bring food for local pantries or swing a hammer for Habitat for Missions, College Wesleyan Church makes it easy for you to get involved.)

• "Go Team" coordinator (nine-month commitment of 2-3 hours a month)

• Missions news correspondent (1-2 hours per week)

• Missions conference planning team (1-3 hours per week through end of February)

• Prayer team (10 minutes or more per week)

• Calling crew (1 hour per week, Make telephone calls to visitors, shut-ins)

• Packet crew (1 hour per week; assisting with developing and setting up welcome packets)



Facilities
Cindy Buck

• Funeral dinners (Hours vary)

• Compassionate cooks (1-1 1/2 hours as needed; preparing a meal and taking to the home of someone who has had a baby, faces critical illness or injury or when there's been a death in the family)

• Special projects (Short-term commitment of 3-5 hours)

• Landscaping team (1-2 hours per week)

• Wedding coordinator (Hours vary)

• Set-up (Hours vary)

• Event host/hostess (Hours vary)

• Snow removal (Hours vary)

• Decorator (2-6 hours per month)



Hospitality network
Cindy Pattengale

• Coffee brewers (2 hours per month; brewing coffee for Sunday school classes/cafe once a month)

• Coffee clean-up crew (30 minutes per week)

• Greeters (30 minutes per month on Sundays)

• Ushers (Approximately 15 minutes prior to service times; 15-20 minutes during service on Sundays)

• Welcome center (1-1/2 hours per month)



Office/administrative
Jackie White

• Offering tellers (2 hours per week or on rotating basis; interview with financial manager required, training provided)

• Receptionist (Hours vary; answer incoming calls, forwarding messages, helping with outgoing mail, etc.)

• Data entry (1-2 hours per week)

• General assistants (Hours vary; assisting with general filing, scanning documents, etc.)



Student ministries
Charlie Alcock

• "Bull pen" (Every now and then; giving on a "need-to-give" basis)

• Life coachers (1-3 hours per week; assisting in developing a student on more personal level)

• Staff (1-3 hours per week; involved with a specific weekly program)

• Prayer warriors (Daily, hours vary)

(All student workers are subject to police background check.)



Technical ministries
Ben Westfall

• Service coordinator (3 hours a week rotation)

• Technical coordinator (3 hours a week on rotation)

• Sound operator (1 1/2-2 hours a week on rotation)

• Camera operator (1-1/2 hours a week on rotation)

• PowerPoint operator (2 hours per week on rotation)



Worship arts and venue leadership
Emily Vermilya

• Singers (1-2 hours per week Rehearsals are just one hour each week)

• Instrumentalists (1-2 hours per week)

• Drama (1-2 hours per week)

• Fine artists (Hours vary)

• Writers (Hours vary)

• Music librarian (Hours vary)



Young Adult ministries
Thad Spring

• Adopt-a-Collegian program coordinator (Flexible hours; helping coordinate and connect families in the church with college students, thus providing a "family" for students when they are away from their families)

• Logos leaders (2-3 hours per week; leading a Bible study for college students)

• Mentoring team (Flexible hours; becoming a mentor to a college student)

• Greeters (15-20 minutes each week; meeting and greeting Sunday nights for the 747 venue and other functions as necessary)

• Events coordinator (Short term of 3-4 hours a week; planning a "welcome back" event for university students in the fall as well as other events as needed)

• Administrative assistant (2-3 hours per week; helping keep the college ministry organized)

• Outreach coordinator (Flexible hours; helping organize and mobilize outreach on IWU and Taylor campuses as well as in the community)

• Prayer coordinator (Flexible hours; developing and building a prayer team for the college ministry)

• Prayer partner (Flexible hours; committing to pray for the college ministry and it's leadership every week)
